Esther 4:14 “…who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”NLT (read more)

Dear Dreamer,

Perhaps what is happening in the world today is not a coincidence. This time may be a surprise to you, but it is not a surprise to God. The seed planted on the inside of you will still blossom into a beautiful field of dreams. Do not allow the present circumstances to deter you from your purpose. Instead, let the current crisis ignite your passion. Between the pandemic of COVID-19 and racism, it is easy to wonder what lies ahead. Perhaps the future is today. Perhaps you were created for such a time as this.

Isaiah 43:19 says, “for I am beginning to do a new thing. Do you not see it?” What if the “new thing” is the person that you see every day in the mirror. It is easy to throw away 2020 because it is not quite the vision that you imagined for life after college, high school, launching a business, or any other plans. Proverbs 16:9 says, “we can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Maybe, now is the time to surrender the control that you are seeking for your life. (This message is much for me as it is for you.)

Dreamer, this is still your time. However, we cannot fall silently to the injustices that plague our community. It’s time to allow that dream of yours to speak to what is happening around you. Leave a lasting legacy that tells the story of your triumph or what it may have felt like to fall. Tell the story of what it may have felt like to have someone stomp on your seeds. Tell the story of what it felt like to experience a drought. From one Dreamer to another, now is the time to nurture the seeds planted on the inside of you. Gone are the days that you sulk in your defeat. Now is the time to see the manifestation of your gardening. If you match your hard work with your faith, any dream is possible.

Always remember,

I can, I will. End of story. You can, you will. End of Story. We can, we will. End of Story.
